The annual Pivotal Systems/FACTS User Group Customer Appreciation event scheduled for October 28, 2009 is being moved to the Fall of 2010.

There are two key reasons for rescheduling the meeting:

First, the current economic climate has forced all of us to make adjustments and tighten belts. As a result, it is increasingly difficult to have a key employee out of the office - even for a few hours. We have seen a significant drop in attendance in regular User Group meetings and have had to cancel several due to poor attendance. Since the meeting is a big expense for the User Group and Pivotal, rescheduling the meeting is prudent.

The second has to do with timing and content. One of the key features of the meeting has been to introduce new products & services and to provide access to key Infor employees. As you have probably already seen, Infor is hosting their virtual Inforum meeting on the 20th-21st of October. A significant amount of the content we planned will be presented at the virtual Inforum.
